There has been bigger redfin caught over 58cms and eldion in the 80s.

Nobody cared abt any records...just went there to catch nice redfin...

It was famous for big redfin...when we were kids we would camp there for the school holidays just to catch them..the may school holidays were the best trips back then for redfin at eldion

Normally just on dark we all would head down and fish the last hour of light and the first 2 hrs of dark.

For the first time since I started this thread, I ventured down there today. No 80 cm redfin came ashore! No redfin at all to be exact! So what can I say? Myth busted!

On a different note, whilst I was struggling to stay upright on my 2 feet, there was a rather pleasant looking gym lady doing hand stands on top of the grassy knoll! Me thinks I may be in with a chance! Am going to start an exercise program down there myself!
cheers

No need to take up doing handstands :-o Bender. You will get plenty of exercise walking to cash converters from the lake several times a day to get your wheels back after they are stolen off your car

It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them
