North East Vic

Post by Di_D » Sun Apr 22, 2012 1:15 pm

Okay, first question (of many to come I reckon)

It's Sunday and overcast - where would be a good place to take the kids fishing this arvo?
We live near Beechworth so was thinking Lake Sambel but with the level down wasn't sure ...

And would spinners be okay?

Any other ideas welcome!

Welcome Di D If your fishing for trout try spinners and cast upstream generally the fish face the on coming water.Bait is another option worms, or mud eye fished under a bubble float.
If you are looking for the person to change your life.look in the mirror .Cheers gus

Well I'm a bit late to help you today but Lake Kerferd (Beechworth water supply) is worth trying at some point. Although I think it may fish better when it is a bit warmer. Try bait as well.
thanks
