portarlington sun arvo

Post by Nude up » Sun May 25, 2014 11:06 pm

Apparently husband's have to go with their wives to markets on Sundays on the bellarine lucky for me she had to be back in melbourne for 3pm . So I launched the boat at 1pm at point Richards after driving slowly past the speed camera near the boat ramp. I thought for a change I would head to prince George bank anchor in 15mt on the edge of the drop off burley hard and see what turns up. Lots of little flatties kept about 10 just over the 30cm mark, lots of banjos 4 port jacksons and a gurnard.
I did have one big run had it on for about ten minutes nearly at the boat the another big run then ping bitten off poss a 7gill whatever it was it was big and sluggish. Left the boat attched to the prado will launch at queenscliff tomorrow fish till 2pm then head home unfortunately work on Tuesday.

Nice one NudeUP.
My son adores PJ sharks! I am yet to get him onto a live specimen. I might have to venture out that and see if we can snag one for him.

Thanks for the report.
