As I post my 1000 post I wanted it to be a fishing report not just general banter. I have not had the boat in the water since busting my wrist at bermie any way launched at queenscliff about 9ish. I was drifting for squid out the front of the cottage by the sea but having missed the tide change even with the drouge out it was to fast I did manage 1 squid 31cm hood.
Gave that away and went to a spot I have near the entrance to swan bay in about 5 to 6mt of water the tide was rippen needed 4oz of lead just to hold bottom the weed comin through was shocking, a couple of banjos then a draughtboard shark then quite as the tide started to slow bang 51cm flathead followed by a 45 and a 46 cm. I had to give it away about 2 taking the misses out in geelong tonight will probably launch at portarlington tomorrow it should be about the same as today,
My wrist got through the day with just a few twinges I have photos but its not playing the game at the moment.
