Anyone fished the cut lately?

Hi all new to the site have started back fishing regularly with a friend haven't really done it since I was a kid but I remember going to ocean grove on holidays and the old man would take me to queenscliff just wanted to no if much was being caught around the cut or off the peir? Live in melbourne and I was thinking of going for a drive out but if no one catching much I won't waste my time and help would be good cheers!

Hi there,

The closest I have fished around there was as St. Leonards pier. It was pretty quiet, with the odd squid being caught.

Where about's is 'the cut' ?

Near where the ferry goes out

Dead as mate. Fished it three times in the last week. A few good size flatties about but no signs of trevs.
