CRAZY!
G'day folks,
Finally got some time off today so thought to go for a flick. My wife and I headed towards Queenscliff, by 12:00pm we finally arrived. She had a first cast with the Warcraft worm which was lying around my tackle bag unnoticed until today. She got a small salmon." Not a bad start" I said to myself, while the wife mocking me as the score now was 0-1 lol
I put in a few casts using gulps and was on to a fish albeit small but who cares when you are catching them one fish a cast almost. We were pulling fish from left, right and centre. I noticed I was running out of gulps very quickly and switched to Warcraft worms as well. Have to say they are super durable. We lost count after 35 salmons but I believe we have caught at least 15-16 on each worm.
I was getting sick of unhooking fish for both of us constantly so gave my rod to a bloke who was observing all the insanity. He pulled in 3 salmons and left with a very big grin on his face. After pulling another dozen salmon I had a good hit and my fuego 2000 which screamed like never before. Before I could gain an inch on this beast it bricked me right into the pylons. F$$#$#$@#! It was a good fish but no way would I have landed it on 4lb line. Kept my cool and retied my leader and Plastic Assasin’s Jighead.
After another gazillion small salmon I had another hit and it turned right towards the boat and pylons. I locked my drag and hoped for the best and by now it was right under the big boat. I was hanging half way from the jetty trying to steer away this fish and finally it turned. Not a bad fish on a 4lb line and 6lb leader. After releasing it safely we continued to nail fish after fish constantly for 2 ½ hours before the tide turned and it was time to go home.

Nice work, good report, like reading a book!
Men and fish are alike. They both get into trouble when they open their mouths...
