Portarlington - Night session - 24 April 2013

Post by Rogue_Hunter » Thu Apr 25, 2013 3:09 pm

Decided to start the long weekend with a fish in and around Geelong. After a quick phone call from a friend, decided to hit Portarlington instead.

High tide was 1:30am, with low wind and a full moon, i decided to chase a gummy; had 4 rods out. 2 for gummy 2 for bait fish.

Got there 10pm and fished till 2am for 3 sharks!!! however, the wrong kind ... damn banjos!

Ended up with a solid FH at 43cm. It was a great night in the sense of the weather\moon; so bright and slightly eery at times.

Long drive back home saw me back @ home at 4:00am :2guns:

Now ... im paying for it ... and the only cure for a sore hungover body is another session!! :a_goodjob:

Also went out last night for no action!!! But the moon at times was bright enough so as not to use a torch.....and no wind! Spooky

So are the gummies hard to come by and you expect a 'donut' session or two? Or was it just not a favorable night for them?
thanks

Bad luck mate. You need a BR session to boost the confidence.

Code is :-
Gutter
Fresh bait
Berley (with no gummy endtrails, also never put gummy blood or gut back into the water)
Glow sticks. lol
