Queenscliff pier 3rd march

Post by ned14 » Mon Mar 04, 2013 3:09 am

Hey all i went down to queenscliff pier yesterday morning, wind was 15 knots ENE, fishing the outgoing high tide just after sunrise, got 3 salmon 1 was 36 cms maybe a kilo and a half, other two were 26 and 27 cms, caught all 3 inbetween 8 and 8:30, nothing after that and left at around 10, saw a couple of old guys going for garfish but they didnt get anything, and only 1 other guy managed 2 salmon around about 30 cms.
Cheers, Ned.

We used pilchard first, got nothing on that, then swapped to bluebait and got the 3 on the first 3 casts.
