I've been getting into it recently too mate, very fun stuff. Only got a few crays and were down toward east Gippsland, but heaps of abalone. I'm actually going Sunday so I'll let you know how I go.

If I ever work out where to find where they're hiding myself I'll be sure to let you know lol

I’d love to catch Crays and abalone! Only I’m too much of a chicken when it comes to the sea and not have eyes in the back of my head! *itsAtoughworldintheSea hahaha!

Good Catch btw mate!

Yeah maybe true! But that bloody (shark week) show had a segment on abalone divers and they social condition you to think otherwise! Haha! To be honest earlier this year my brother in law went spear fishing for the first time with his experienced mate in queens cliff! He says they caught fish and kept it in a floating bag on the surface and before long had to steer clear because a bronze whaler tore through it! Took everything!

Look I’m sounding like a chicken already! I hope I can overcome that fear one day! I’m obviously missing out on a different type of fishing action!

....one day!

I think crays are mostly found on the ocean beaches, don't take my word for it though. Cheers Matari
