Snapper bite before the storm
Snapper bite before the storm
Launching this afternoon with mate and fellow member mooneyz and a mate decided to hit the bay point wilson. Knowing a storm was to come i was thinking fish should bite. Found fish in 10m drop the pick and with in 5 min rod buckles missed it then another buckles and mooneyz landing a 45cm school size snapper then my rod goes with a 43cm snapper we were thinking hello a hot bite. Sure enough my rod goes again 42cm snapper 1 off my bag off 3 my mates rod buckles boom 40cm snapper. Shortly after my rod goes again 51cm snapper yep thats my bag lol. Well then all hell broke loose 40kts sth squalls wave 2m and above lol we sat it out hopefully for more. Mother nature had other plans bucket down hail wind that was it boom ruff ride home. Launched at 430 back in at 8 short sharp sesh love it
