Indented Head Boat Ramp

Post by Pedro » Sat Sep 02, 2017 1:03 pm

Now that the upgrade has been completed I have been keen to make use of it. However, not having done so before I would greatly appreciate any advise from locals and other users regarding hazards and other such stuff I should be familiar with.
Regards, pedr0

Just watch governers reef on the st leonrds side of the ramp it's marked by a north cardinal marker. Claimed many boats over the years

I was down near indented head and had a look at the ramp upgrade. Nice dual lane plenty of water I was there near the top of the tide deep sand on the ramp just about 1.5 mt in width then clear, sand about 300mm deep

. You can see the reef marker in the distance.

No sand now.
Looking at the ramp on the r/h side there are 2 red poles 50 and 200 mts out dont
go near those guys .
About 300 out there ie a black/yellow pole and about 200 east from this guy there is another one -dont go between these guys
On the l/h side of ramp rocks no good at low tide.
Just go straight out-no probs
