Fishing report

Post by Born2fish » Sun Jun 18, 2017 7:57 am

Launching 5 am yesterday with a mate target gummys and squid. Arriving to my gummy spot put burly out and threw out the baits and the wait started. Around 7am rod buckle screamed off head shaking. I loaded rod popped looked at leader bitten clean off (possible schoolie) re baited and waited. Then mates rod buckles and lands a small gummy close to just legal so let it go. Out of no wear my big bait buckles and rockets off and massive head shakes. We knew this was the big gray sub we were looking for the battle started 10min later we got her near boat side seen it was a awesome gummy called for gaff. I was leading it towards the gaff BANG main line snaps cause of tail wrapped NOOOOO along with*@$## @#$#*&^ . Then decided to hit the squid and as all ways they were thick and lots of fun.
