It does get very busy down there especially during holidays time.

My thoughts exactly, I will take the kids to the pier but that is all, the locals deliberately cast over your lines to discourage you and seems like they have 16 rods, not fun arguing with idiots and not a great experience for the kids.

fisheries need to change it to 2 rods each or make it so they can only be 1 ft apart these arseholes take a family each with 4 rods and deliberately space their rods so that they take up a huge area!!!

That's just messed up... kind of reminds me why I don't fish from piers much anymore...

Yep that's why I'm saving up to buy a boat even if its only a little 25hp tinnie as I'm sick of the flogs that think cause they are locals that they own the pier and its prime spots and the knobs that encroach onto your spot leaving you no casting room.
