Quite a few elephant fish getting caught there as well

The tide runs pretty hard at Barwon, only really ever fish it on a tide change over. If the swell is up on the outside then the incoming will bring heaps of weed which can be a real pain in the butt. At the moment in the system you can catch whiting, flathead, salmon, mullet, trevs, jewies and elephants.

Hey all,
Does anyone know how the Barwon river has been fishing recently?
Heading up this arvo til tuesday so need to do some serious fishin!

Crap fished sheep wash then near bridge for muffin..Friday.
Plenty of squid at st Leonard's pier
To many boats kayak, helicopter , catch a fish,catch a fish
