I wet a line ! Have cart will travel.

Post by hornet » Sun Aug 09, 2015 9:00 pm

No reports from the members for I while so I'll post my Saturday night trip.

Well seeing the weather was good I decided to wet a line, temperature was OK Saturday night for a change not too cold, the whiting were absent from my usual haunt but the squid came out to play, fresh live tommy rough on a squid jag was the weapon of choice, all other species were MIA ? I think another couple of weeks should see an influx of variety.

Seaker, billions of tommy rough ! they were everywhere but not much size to them, ok for baits but not eating size, when I do get them eating size I grill them and pour olive oil and salt on them, quite the delicacy.

I'm guessing if he wanted to state where it was, hornet would have mentioned it! Good luck if you recognise the place, no need to let everyone else know...just my thoughts. Good effort hornet!
cheers
