Portarlington report: 2/2/2015

Post by Paul Foot » Tue Feb 03, 2015 4:53 am

Spent a couple of hours off the rock wall around lunchtime. Picked up a few small snapper that I put back using squid for bait on a casting rig. Tried other bait but it got stolen pretty quickly and on the other rod the running sinker rig often came back with no bait and the line in a tangle like something had been tampering with it, so if I was a better fisherman maybe I could have picked up something else. :wall:

I was there on Friday night off the rockwall I caught two worth keeping. The bigger one was 39cm and the smaller was just over 28.
