UN lucky day

Decided to fish corio today cause of weather predicted wind rain. Well it blew a gale and bucket down any way decided to fish the channel near stingray bay. After 2 hours no joy rain and wind was thinking a move maybe then bang reel screamed off and after a good fight gummy comes boat side. Happy with it and being good size realised **** no gaff go to net it half in the net gummy goes bonkers and line snaps I lean over to grab other side of net bye bye gummy. It manages it get out backwards and bolt away that was end of my day packed up and left lol soaked and loosing a gummys that was my braking point lol was solo yolo :rofl: so headed in

Bad luck at least you got to see it and know you were in the right area. The weather was pretty ordinary today

Probably 6-8kg ish mate not massive just good size took half a squid head
