So had to go this arvo ,wanted to go to Clifton springs but I thought touch windy.
Launched st helens solo n without any mishaps launching or retriving.
Wind was south 13knot plus.
Gave the boat a run up past pt heny ,boat seem to cruise around 28knots so ...and with only s rough idea how much ks per tank, I decided to chuck a you turn a bit past pt Henry n went to nth shore rocks n sounded for a bit .

Eventually anchored and petrol gauge was on empty.

get a new sounder , one with nmea2000 capability and add a fuel flow sensor, that way you can check usage all the time. but ofcourse theres easier ways to do it. but since you might be needing a new sounder its an option worth looking into

There's a factory (or dealer can't remember) option for ~70l underfloor tank. Give international marine a call and find out about it
