Torquay

After the morning rain settled dumped the boat in at fishos and was at the artificial reef in no time with glassy conditions. Got fishing with an early calamari on baited jig coming aboard, then the southerly abruptly kicked through with unpleasant conditions ensuing. Unfortunate because the mackerel had started and a nice pinky went into the box. We had to pull the pin, moving in closer to shore, wrasse and a leatherjacket featuring. Last stop off fishos point yielded one last squid, could not find the whiting again today....
