Beer vs fishing

Post by Matty H » Fri Nov 24, 2017 8:50 pm

Took the opportunity for a post work launch off fishos, although the persistent southerly kept us close in. Motored out to 20 ft n just drifted parallel to the beach, lots of small bites but just couldn't hook up. Finally made a connection- beautifully coloured grass whiting, great looking fish. So anchored,.... And stuff all! Could not buy a bite. Still, sitting back on the nice flat gunnels on the tub draining a few beers was hard to beat for a Friday arvo. I suspect the beer probably won today..... Have to sort pics for the site, that whiting was an amazing array of bright blues n greens.
Cheers, Mat.
