what fish are around St Hellens and Corio Bay this time of year?

Post by nemotheclownfish » Sat Jul 02, 2016 4:16 pm

Can anyone tell me what type of fish has been caught recently at St Helen's just off the rocks and in general Corio Bay! I'm want to go tomorrow and maybe sometime next week. I'm thinking of going in the morning. Are there any squids around there to? I'm thinking of garfish and whiting if they are around. I hope someone replies soon, I want to get everything ready :-D :fish22: :water:

So i went on Sunday and nothing. We had burly and everything but still no luck, not even a bite :( . the guys next to us managed to get a few garfish, they got the best spot of the pier. We stayed for a 2 hour but the wind picked up so i went home. At least i got out of the house
