I have met millzee personally and know his respect for native fish, he is definitely not a troll and I believe his views to catch and release fishing are similar to mine, cheers davoLongshankhooks wrote:Being honest and genuine. It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Just another fish to me, taste fairly average and for their size don't pull very hard, but they are native so I suppose they deserve some respect

Re: What does 'Murray Cod' mean to you?
The Murray Cod is an iconic fish that holds an almost mythical status in Australian freshwater fishing lore. It is is considered the 'holy grail' of freshwater fishing and lays claim to being the biggest wholly freshwater fish in the world.
I remember as a kid hearing all sorts of stories about Murray Cod, how to catch them, and how big they grow. I also found them impossible to catch, however this has changed in recent years with more stocking of native fish in both natural and man-made impoundments
