Macquarie perch in the hills
I went up to a favourite spot today and bagged 5 maccas.
I find they almost always like to bite when there is a storm or rain on the way!!!

Well done MickCov Maccas are my favourite fish nice to see you have a secret spot most of us keep them quiet they are a great fish. :thumbsup:

Boonanza,they are a great fish.They never fail to bite in the right conditions,and on light tackle they are awesome.

Nice one mate, I used find the same thing with maccas. Half an hour before a storm hit they'd lose their minds, once it hit you'd get to enjoy the walk out getting saturated!

Thanks mate.They were hot for about 3 hours after sunrise and I think being the wary fish they are they stopped biting once the temp rose a little.
