Cod fishing around Mildura after blackwater event.

Are there any cod left? I have a house boat booked for late march and was hoping to tangle with a cod or two, but after seeing all the hype about blackwater and all the dead cod I'm a little sceptical of my chances to catch a few fish.
Has anybody had any luck of late around mildura? And were the cod deaths that widespread?
