Super stoked to get one today, cheers to gav for sharing the spot and the net work. Good thing I got a pic of the spinnerbait I used as I lost it later on to a rockfish.

Went to CA Campbellfield today n got some more spinnerbaits ;) and a spinnerbait storage box as I have hunted around for em for a while! Will have to try out luck again soon. Tonight is perfect weather but I'm unable to get out
If I'm not fishing, I'd rather be fishing!

Went to Mulwala for the cod opening.

Grand score, 2 undersized cod, one on lure the other on a 3.50 bardie grub
One Yella trolling
One carp on bait.

14 for the season so far mainly smaller fish but some healthy bigger models thrown in to and a new pb is great and well overdue!

so when the dates for this years trip, i can then work out if i can come down or not.
ps - ive never camped before so might have to improvise or only come for a day.

ripper work Gav, i reckon i know that exact spot. got my pompadour stuck in the reeds directly inline with that tree on the second cast. had to bust off, walk back to the car, drive 15min round to the other side of the river and talk to the landowner to go retrieve it. it looked super fishy.
