It's almost that time again fellas!! Can't wait!!

Knocking off early Thursday n heading to my trusty hole along the Yarra for a dusk session..

Who's heading out open day n where ya headed? Hope to see some solid reports!

Boonie, basti knows the spot.. the walks really something haha! But worth it.. whilst I haven't landed any monsters outta there yet I've lost a big fish on two occasions. Caught some smaller models on bait..

I can only hope I do better than I did last year.. best was 58cm all my mates got at least one nice fish for the season

I did catch a tagged fish tho which was cool! Rang up n gave the details when I got the certificate it showed that the fish had grown 100 odd mm and was k's downstream from where it was tagged.. goes to show they do move up and down the system

Might be time to drag the kayak up to some of the harder to reach pools on the yarra. Sounded out large parts of it from Finns up to Yerring Gorge so got a good idea where many of the deep pools are
