Well if any one is heading up to the lake's Eildon and Nillhacootie , you will have a good chance of Cod and Yella's. A lot have been caught over the past few weeks Yella's up to 9lbs and some big Cod on very light gear as they are not targeted. More are being caught on worms and from the bank's.

Always take a good look at what you are about to eat. It’s not so important to know what it is .but it’s critical to know what it was.

Water at Echuca is still looking pretty black, Goulburn is looking fantastic, a lot of small cod being pulled out at the junction, meant to be boats galore there atm so its coping a hammering. I fished around yambuna on Saturday, trying to get a yella or 2 ended up with a 48cm Cod on a spinnerbait, hooked something else as well. Water gets clearer the closer to the junction it seems as well.
