Echuca

Post by kenzie101 » Mon Apr 29, 2019 2:19 pm

Hi,
Headed up to Echuca for a few days and landed lots of smaller cod, carp and silver perch. Most on worms and corn. My wife managed few as well. She is very impressed with the lazy skills displayed by myself when I reeled in a couple without knowing that they were there.

Biggest cod seen was from the deck at Beechworth Bakery overlooking the Campaspe. Looked a good 80 / 90 cms form the deck. Could be bigger. Just mooching around at the edge, could be well fed from punters throwing their leftovers into the river.

Weather was great and a relaxing trip.

Cheers,
Mark.

It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Paying the long game Dave, the wine and cheese platter may have helped in getting Michelle on board.
