Goulburn river

Post by guppie12 » Sat Jan 12, 2019 8:24 pm

Hi all
I have been going fishing at Murchison lately, I have been out twice and managed to land about 20 cod, most of them being small trout cod but a few 40-50 cod thrown in the mix (with the smaller cod all being between 20-30, still good fun to catch small cod tho) I have tried nagambie with no luck, looking to find a new spot along the Goulburn. Don’t want any actual spots just areas I should be targeting to catch a bit better size cod...we have a 2wd sedan car so can’t do to much off-roading
Cheers

What technique have you tried? Having a 2 wheel drive may hinder your access but reality is there may be larger cod around where you go. It may be worthwhile revisiting the spots but trying something different...large yabbies for bait or large lures for example. Good luck!
