Eildon November 23rd and 24th 2018

This isn't a report of mine, but a report from a mate.

So weekend just past i was supposed to fish the Eildon cod comp with my mate. That plan was short lived because i ended up breaking my wrist a couple days before which rendered me useless. I had a stupid little fall off my dirt bike.

He ended up taking his brother and having a crack anyway.

Fishing the Big river arm he cruised along the steep rock walls on the electric motor casting Zerek 8 inch swimbaits with chin weights to get down a bit deeper.

He ended up getting a couple cod between 50-60cm, Missed a couple good fish and won the biggest cod of the year for the Victorian Central lure casters series with a 93cm fatty! He won heaps of lures and prizes plus some cash. Needless to say.. I was crying.. with joy for him winning of course..

Good report intend to head up to Eildon to target cod sometime in summer.

Cheers mate. I had the same plan until i broke my wrist.. Now I'll be spending it at home sulking. Lucky i broke my left wrist and I'm right handed

Yeah he was stoked to say the least.

Not at all actually. Rode back to the car with it. I actually didn't think it was broken till i got it xrayed.

It hurts more not being able to ride or fish.
