Eildon trolling and casting for Trout. 14th July 2018

Post by Sinsemilla » Wed Jul 18, 2018 6:47 pm

Went out with my cousin and a mate for a bit of a fish at Eildon last weekend. Trolled around the edges in the morning then once the sun came up cruised around casting. Once the sun started to set we started trolling again in the middle of the lake near the rock wall ramp. It was a perfect day.

Ended up with one nice brown as the sun was setting. It put on a good show, jumping as soon as it was hooked. It was in great condition.

Off the water as the sun disappeared because it was just to damn cold!

Cheers, Anth

looks like there's a bit of size to that one.
I love the silver colour of the lake trout.

Cheers fellas!

No idea LX, we didn't measure it. I'd say around 45cm? maybe a touch bigger.
