The river below the wall fishes pretty good at times for yells and cod, well worth a look. Do you have a boat, yak or landbased?

It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Land based. I’m curious about what section closest to Castlemaine people know to fish well.Millzee wrote:The river below the wall fishes pretty good at times for yells and cod, well worth a look. Do you have a boat, yak or landbased?

talking to people re. Cairn Curran. Seems the deeper water is ok. its the shallower water around Welshmans Reef thats affected.

Re: Laanecoorie Res
I fished near the ski area and wall last week and was shocked to see families skiing and swimming amongst water with green floating algae floating around getting mixed up by boats. I walked in the water up to my knees to retrieve my boat and found my legs a bit itchy on the drive home to Maryborough. Some decent reddies getting around out there though, well worth it.coln72 wrote:talking to people re. Cairn Curran.
