Eppalock session Reddies everywhere with video
Hi everyone
I went on a fishing session at Lake Eppalock a couple of days ago. The conditions were calm and balmy and we hit the water around 4,00. We were on a very small tinny and we launched from Ramp 2. The session was crazy and we lost count of how many Redfin that was caught. We were mainly fishing in depths around 7 meters and was simply bouncing or slow rolling a range of soft plastics and vibes with my Savage Gear 2-4 kilo spin rod. Plastics used included Zman grubz, ProGrubz, Fat T-Tails, Nemises with bright colours working well. We didn't manage to hook up to any yellas or cod but will venture out there again soon to try.

A good session, well done, cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Re: Eppalock session Reddies everywhere with video
Thanks a lot. Most of them were between 25cm and 30cm which is very typical of Eppalock. There were quite a few between 30cm and 35cm and the odd couple just under 40cm. Have a look at this video which shows the sizes of the catches on the day https://youtu.be/Iu9RlGmSdOclaneends wrote:Thats a good size reddie for eppalock, were many of them of decent size?
