Murray river at Gunbower

Post by malleestump » Wed Nov 29, 2017 2:10 pm

For anybody heading to Gunbower for Cod opening. My mate was there Monday and got quite a lot of off small cod close to the edge all on small shrimp. The river is pretty high at present too.Not alot of shrimp around at the moment , no yellow belly were caught once again.Just read a weather report that a severe rain event will occur in central vic Friday expected rainfall 100 mm 4 " inches in the old scale.Careful where you camp you could have trouble getting out.

It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Still forecast for severe thunderstorms from tomorrow evening, for the whole state, and up to 100m of rain over friday and saturday.
