Went for a walk with my brother to fish a couple spots on the Goulburn and then hit the Rubicon around where it meets with the Goulburn.

Beautiful day but a bit tough fishing wise. The Goulburn is running very high making it difficult to fish.
I got 3 nice browns and got hit and dropped a few more, 1 brown came from the Goulburn and the other 2 came from the Rubicon, and my brother got 2 browns, Both from the Rubicon.

They were caught on either Strike tiger B/G t tails or shallow running thin profile suspending hard bodies.

Cheers, Anth

Nice job Anth, can be a tough fishery when it's really flowing. The river has dropped back down now to a much more pleasant level to fish.

I'd still like it to drop a bit more though. I like that stretch when its running just a tad slower
