Fathers Day on the Goulburn 3rd of September 2017

Happy Fathers day to all the fathers reading this!

Did the usual trip to the Goulburn over the weekend for fathers day.

We got to our spot just before mid day.. We woke up late and had a late breakfast.
The weather was very on and off with the sun popping out every now and again but the day was mostly overcast with light showers and a bit of wind.
The river was looking good with the water running nicely and clear. probably could have been a couple foot higher.

I started off with a black and gold t tail plastic, my brother had a spinner and my dad was using bait. We quickly figured out the plastics and spinners were the go.

I landed 7 fish for the day, 5 rainbows and 2 browns.

My brother landed 3 rainbows and the old man landed 2 rainbows.

Another successful fathers day! I hope you all enjoyed your weekend as much as we did.

Yeah he always does bm. He isn't too bad at flicking a lure!

My brother got his 3 in 4 casts out of the same hole ending his 6 year fathers day drought which i reckon deserves a mention!
