nude up secret dartmouth camp spot

I was struggling to find any imfo on dartmouth but lucklily forum member nude up dove into his book and gave me his sure fire, never miss, guarantee a big brown trout every time trout spot.

I headed off to dart and got the boat in abt 6am.. .abt 9am I found his camp spot right next to the sure fire never miss steep trout bank.

I set my camp up and went out for a troll...the trout were feeding on moths on top off the water so after a few hours off trolling for no fish I bought the fly rod out and managed to land a few nice fish.

I went back for lunch and then headed out to troll in the late afternoon/evening..once I found the depth the trout had headed to and the colour off the tassies devil I started to catch a few fish every troll run....most abt .5 kg.

The following morning I headed out to the same area but with big xraps and had a ripper sesion landing some very nice brown trout...I retired that afternoon and listened to another solid loss by the tigers.

I fished with mudies and floats and was lucky enough to pull two nice trout out off the timber....not a bad effort after 12 diet cokes.

The next morning the trout were suicidal and it didnt matter what lure or colour...mostly small trout and I was releasing all the fish as I had enough to my needs

I went for a walk up this little creek I had found and wished I bought a rod...every pool I spooked trout in...next trip I will fish this first.

I packed up the next day and headed home.....

We used to camp straight across the dam opposite the boat ramp to keep an eye on the trailer and tow vehicle, one year we missed going and some mongrels had a field day knocking off stuff, wheels then a trailer and finally a 4x4 over the course of a week.

yep davo....there the bonnie doon special and the jarvis walker ekdion special

we have a comp who can catch the biggest trout on the classic rods.....ive had mine 30 odd years
