Goulburn River

Headed down to the Goulburn Murchison way after work.
The river has had an environmental flow put down it last weekend. It is currently a bit high but falling and is fairly clear (for the Goulburn!).
Not much interest in cheese - one bite for one small cod.
More action on worms, bites were soft and had to give them slack. Three Murray cod 30 - 40 cm long and two yellas around 30 cm:
Then baited up with shrimp and picked up this 45 cm yella:
In the twilight fished a medium sized floppy slowly on the surface and was engulfed by this small cod, about 40, which smashed it near the bank (you can just see the bib of the floppy sticking out of its mouth!):
Plenty of fish for about two hours fishing though the bites were soft, except for the surface take.
Best Wishes
