Goulburn river

Post by kenzie101 » Sat Dec 31, 2016 9:31 am

Spent a few hours on the Goulburn yesterday with Davek.
Nice day, caught 5 cod between 20 and 40 cm all on cheese and all released.

Though I would finish the day by popping my knee on the loop out, very embarrassing had to have a bit of a lie down for a tick and stretch it out.

After a few minutes where Panadol wouldn't have gone astray we hobble back to the cars. Not a good way to finish the day.

Couldn't get worse, but wait near Nagambie I realise I have lost my phone. Head back to where we were fishing and hobble along the track, bingo there it is on the ground where I lost my pride.

All good head back to Melbourne a couple of KS from home collect a rabbit under the front wheel, a few KS later I collect a magpie then just after that I skid to a stop to avoid a cow on the road.

Thought I will do the right thing and report stock on the road to the police, get a phone call later that night they can't find the cow.

Oh well off to sleep thinking at least I caught a few.

Mark.

Geez Mark, you did end the day badly, As we were heading back home we past Truedogz (Will) so I turned around and met up with him. We both went to the channel and fished for a few hrs, Will on lures, me with SP's. We caught a few little reddies, Will got a cod around 35cm and I picked up a little yella,

Hey Dave,

Very tender today, will be right in a day or two.

We're you at the channel near the roadhouse. Thought I saw your car on my return trip in the distance.
