Murchison channel and river fishing.

Post by davek » Sat Nov 26, 2016 9:04 pm

Myself and Will (Truedogz) fished out of Murchison this afternoon. We were scouting for Redfin but Will picked up a cod on a little lure.

After throwing a few more lures and plastics in the backwater of the channel we went across to the river but only managed a couple of small cod.

Around 6.30pm we headed back to the channel backwater and Will hooked a reddie.

A bit later I finally got a decent yella

Not many reddies but still a couple of good fish to make the afternoon, as usual all fish released, cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them
