Post by guppie12 » Tue Oct 25, 2016 6:29 pm

Hi all, taking some mates out to Buxton for a couple of trout soon. Looking what lures or techniques work well, but if I don't catch anything... trout farm here I come
Cheers

I love stalking all those little rivers and creeks up that way. I go pretty light gear 2-3kg and my favourite would have to be a rapala F5 in spotted dog, rainbow trout or brown trout colours. Celtas near the Rapids and craw daddies in the really small creeks worked close up against the banks and overhangs work great too.
