Murray River Algae

Hi All,
I'm just wondering if anyone knows the current news on the blue green algae in the murray River im thinking about heading up to Ned's corner next weekend

It still looks pretty green not as bad as it was hopefully in a couple weeks it clears right up

As of last week, my missus couldn't run a canoe trip on the Murray

Google "Murray River Algae" - Had over 75mm (3 Inches) of rain in the last 4 Days - Wodonga / Albury - Also check "Border Mail - Albury" for latest update.

Can tell you as of Sun 1/5 until Thur 5/5 that Edward River from Moulamein to the Murray River junction was up sh*t creek and the Murray was pretty green all the way from there to towns just before Swan Hill.
For 4 full days of lines in the water, we only got bites (not hook ups or serious hits, just straight up nibbles!) on the 1 day and ended up with 5 silvers and 1 carp. All on scrubbies and wouldnt touch any other baits or lures.
You might have better luck but after 6ish weeks hopefully it's starting to bugger off.

That's the area I last heard was impacted and I'm kinda hoping it all clears up before it gets too much further west.
