Toolamba
I go fishing for the first time in god knows how long and what's the first thing I catch? A carp. (30cm at most)
Followed by a small silver perch not long after (about 15cm) At least the guys are catching cod & silvers so I'm keeping my 'Carp Queen' title Jim/Rod Bender gave me :victory:
On the same side of the river as the scout camp but to the right a few hundred metres.
Still here so hopefully I can snag something else before we head home.

Re: Toolamba
Keep at it slotzz, they are there, just hiding on you, cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Total was 5 cod, 2 silvers, 1 carp.

Re: Toolamba
That whole stretch of river from Murchison to Kialla is good to hit up for a session whether its morning, arvo or even night (when the bigger ones come out to play). We usually end up closer to Kialla.
Worms, cheese, shrimp, corn & yabbies all work.
