fishing the murray

Went for a fish last weekend and had a fair bit of luck

put the boat in at echuca around 5pm and fished to around 1230 thar night and then up around 6 am and fished to 11a
caught a few small yellowbelly and two nice one.landed two nice cod and 6 smaller ones

It was 80 cm .

Couldnt load up the yellow pic.said it was to large a file

Nice fish Mick :thumbsup: Looks a lot cleaner (red spot) than some of the ones coming out upstream of there at the moment.

Yes it was.the cleanist fish ive caught since the backwater got flushed down 20months ago

Congrats on the nice cod Barra Mick, great stuff, that's what fishing is about.

By the way, a lot of Vic anglers aren't aware of certain prohibited items used in the landing of fish in NSW Inland waters, so I am guessing that is a tent pole that you have placed your fish next to, as there is no way that could be an illegal gaff ;) .

It was ok scarecrow.

just did it in beer batter and chips on the side

im heading out again on fri at gunbower

u heard any reports around gunbower
