Success at Fyans day 2
Fished yesterday morning at Fyans again, trolled plastics and hard bodies with no success at south end of lake. Moved to the north end and tried drifting baits from the deeper sections towards the tree line. Rapid success! Caught a brown trout 50cm on gudgeon and 4 Redfin on worm and gudgeon. All were caught on the area between clean bottom and the start of the weedbeds. Trout was in good condition, and had been feeding on small Redfin, the reddies were released being too small. Water temp was 19.5 degrees and fairly clear. Other fishos not doing very well either, a few small Redfin on the go bit not many being caught. PB trout tho, pretty happy with that :a_goodjob:
My hobbies are fishing and golf, I guess I just like frustration..
