Hows lake burumbeet been fishing lately?

I tried but the wind was strong and cold, the car thermometer was reading 8 degrees at 11 am.
i used worms and corn.
Will be heading up there again soon as the weather warms up a little.
great spot to spend the day.

You should have fished the North side with the wind at your back, what bait did you use?

Just to be different, I always position myself on a shoreline (where I go to Waranga Basin) casting into the wind! I have the belief that the 'food' that the fish are feeding on will be blown towards the shore where you are, so that is where I go (and hopefully the fish as well). It is also likely that the incoming waves will stir up food as well. Does fishing into the wind help me? It's hard to tell, but the concept is enough for me to keep trying this way.

Its a s@#t hole last time I went there was rubbish everwere, some a hole had done a crap on the track toilet papper all over the place dead carp on the bank , and at night had spotlighters shooting over our heads never going back . forgot to mention the rats running around eating the rubbish .

Yeah I went back there a few weeks ago and I gotta agree with andyk, rubbish everywhere and I didnt get a bite.
