Hows lake burumbeet been fishing lately?

Hi guys, im going to lake burumbeet tomorrow for a couple of hours, was just wondering what was being caught there in the past few weeks, any tips for baits or anything would help. Thanks guys.

Burrumbeet is currently full to the brim with carp, not even changeling to catch. I was retrieving the boat the other day and the skiers were complaining of the carp jumping the wake and hitting the skier/ tube.

If interested in catching them fish the south shore near some reed's, or the entry from the bo peep creek.

If in the boat do a few circles around in front of the weed banks with a bit of power on, although not enough to get up onto the plane, and you should get the carp all excited and jumping in the wash from the boat.

I did hear a whisper about some decent redfin but as yet have not seen any evidence.

You might be able to get a Trout if you use some powerbait

Im going there this Saturday.
Hopefully get rid of a few Carp and try catch a reddie or a trout.
Hope the weather holds out looks like its going to be a little windy.

im guessing the ban is off then? all the algae is gone?

Lake is clear of any Algae.
It was cleared back in May.

The lake was stocked last year and again last week so there should be fish in there so go give it a crack and let us know how you go

Hi Guys so i went down to Burumbeet on Saturday and when i got there i though i took a wrong turn somewhere and ended up at Torquay!!!
The lake was like fishing a surf beach.
I cast a few rods out for about an hour or so but i didn't get a bite.
Very nice place with good access to the lake along the south side, will be going back very soon.

You should have fished the North side with the wind at your back, what bait did you use?
