We call them Redfin Perch? So maybe? Do they have the same colours?

Edit. Proper name for redfin is English perch.

Looked it up...

Thanks. Yes the colors are very similar. We get them up to about a kg. That's a very big one. They are excellent eating when caught ice fishing.
