Skippies in Lake Victoria

My son and my self had a ball on the lake this evening me Especially with my lightweight ugly stick and bait caster With six pound line it was bedlam af the good cind with doublehook ups and and losses :bn: , biggest was forty five centimetres now have plenty of bait and berely for out the front .

Well done on getting your kid onto some fish. Those Taylor are pretty good eating if bled and iced. They should also get you a good gummy out the front. Good Luck and let us know how you go.

I probably should have phrased that better my son is 28yo .
but they are still the most fun for him he has always loved racing up to the school and belting lures out to them .

Had another great session kept what is in the pic and released about 30 odd .
I also had my sons GF in the boat and she had a ball so now she wants to get her own rod so there's another added to the fold .
It started pretty slow for her as she couldn't cast past 10m and now she is doing 30+ so that's a great effort.

Another fun day on Lake Victoria birds and fish as far as the eye could see even managed to get some on side scan for once

Well there getting bigger and thicker on the sounder .
The bait board in 50cm wide .

Pelagic fish everywhere at the moment. Salmon along the cliffs at lakes, big ones amongst them. An odd kingfish getting caught too. Slimey mackerel are so thick offshore you get a string of them every drop on sabikis. Had a go at the pines for flatties but only small ones. Heard people did alright in 25 mts, try there next time.
There's nothing . . . absolutely nothing . . . half so much worth doing as simply messing around in boats.

Now when you say cliffs do you mean along the rock wall from North arm down towards Nyerimilang.
