Hey Flatty fisho, if you're after some beach based, id suggest heading along Norman Bay, in front of the 3rd ramp from the camp sites, walk out as deep as the surf permits and try and throw a slug as far out as you can. No heaver than probably 40g as its very shallow and you'll just drag it along the bottom. Silver seems to work best, shinier the better

I spent quite a bit of time hiking and rock fishing the Prom a few years back.

It's hard work to catch good fish off the rocks in VIC but great fun if you enjoy that kind of adventure.
